We Stood at the Turning Point.

This year's theme comes from the chapter on How it Works, page 59 of the book Alcoholics Anonymous which reads: "Half measures availed us nothing. We stood at the turning point. We asked His protection and care with complete abandon."

The Chisholm Trail Convention is a non-profit public charity organization with the primary purpose being to provide service and fellowship opportunities to the Alcoholics Anonymous (“A. A.”) members of the greater Austin area by means of the annual Chisholm Trail Convention event, making every effort to encourage all groups and members to participate.

The Chisholm Trail Convention will always protect the autonomy, anonymity and the privilege of dissent of any A. A.  member or group while operating within the framework of the Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts for World Service of A. A.
